Bailey was leading the United Naval Forces that went to the Coyote system to attempt to defend it from the invading Pandoran soldiers. She undertook captaincy of Talos during the mission.

Bailey remained the captain of Talos throughout the Pandoran War, assisting with the defence of the Independent systems and later with the defence of Helios, after the fallout of Black Widow.

In December 2624, Bailey commanded Talos in the defence of Alpha Centauri, along with Aiden Meyers, Kelly Taylor and Estelle de Winter. The carrier was attacked by an Imperial lander and a frigate, known as O'Neil's Rest, that sought to take control of it. When Pandoran soldiers boarded the carrier via Leeches and it became clear that repelling the invaders would be impossible (some malfunctioning Pandorans using high yield weaponry at close range), Bailey initiated the carrier's self destruct sequence.

Bailey was killed when Talos was destroyed, the woman wishing her fellow combatants luck with the rest of the war.
