Stefan Pitt, as with Poppy Castro, was a researcher based on Peri.

He was unlawfully killed by Simon Dodds on 18th November 2616 during Operation Clean Sweep.

 

 

 

 

 

The Attribute of the Strong [Toggle Spoilers]

Pitt came to Dodds in a dream he had on 25th December 2624, just before the Pandoran fleet arrived at Sol. In the dream, Dodds was being pursued by Jason Zackaria, who had killed his team-mates and left him for last. It was a recurrent dream, in which Dodds always ended up dead, having his throat cut by the Imperial Navy's ceremonial dagger.

Along with Castro, Pitt defended Dodds from Zackaria, restraining the admiral and allowing Dodds to escape. Before he did so, the two told him that they had forgiven him and that what had happened on Peri was an accident and nothing more. The words and realisation gave Dodds the strength he needed to push on through to victory in the final battle against the Pandoran fleet.
