Lee was serving aboard Ifrit when the carrier took part in Operation Menelaus. Following the mission's failure, he worked with Short and Dawes as the three became suspicious of where Anthony Hawke's loyalties lay. When Hawke later offered to permit a boarding party of Imperial soldiers onto the ship, Lee chose to aid in his captain's arrest.

Lee was killed by Hawke as he attempted to escort the man from the bridge and secure him in his quarters, being shot through the head by a laser pistol.
