Ragnar was one of the four frigates that accompanied Griffin to the Coyote system, to assist in the rescue of the White Knights and the salvaging of the ATAFs. During the battle over Mythos, it was assigned to fighting up field with William The Conqueror.

Ragnar formed part of the fleet that went to the Adetton system, to assist in the clean up operation during phase two of Black Widow. It successfully escaped the ambush the Pandoran fleet had set up in the system, returning home to Confederation space with moderate damage.

In late 2624, Ragnar fought on the defence line at Alpha Centauri, defending Sky from the advancing Pandoran line while the planet was evacuated. The frigate was confirmed destroyed in the conflict by Aiden Meyers when Leviathan retreated to Sol.
